End-to-end encrypted
Encrypted on the clinic computer, decrypted in your browser. Our server stores only ciphertext and can't read patient names or amounts.
Read-only
The dashboard can't change anything in the clinic. It shows the last snapshot posted from the app.

Do I need the internet?
Only to activate the licence and for a short check at least once every 14 days. Appointments, charts, invoices and everything else work fully offline.
Where is my patients' data stored?
On the clinic computer, and it belongs to the clinic. It is not uploaded to our servers — only licence information is checked.
What about backups?
A backup is made automatically every day. On installation day we point it to a USB drive or a second disk, so a failed hard drive doesn't take the backups with it. You can also back up and restore at any time.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. The whole interface is available in Arabic, right to left, as well as English. WhatsApp reminders go out in the clinic's language.
Which computers does it run on?
BYT Dental is a Windows desktop app. Basic runs on one computer; on Pro two computers share the same records over the clinic network.
Can you move my existing records?
Yes. Patient lists can be imported from Excel or CSV, and we help move existing records before your first live day.
How are installation and payment handled?
Choose a plan, agree on a date, pay the first month or year (cash or Whish Money), and we install, set up and train your team at the clinic. The subscription year starts on the activation date, and we remind you 30 days before renewal.
